/r/AskHistorians has a no example seeking rule which would normally mean I'd remove this question, but it might be that people are able to help you with teaching resources you may find useful. At the same time, the academic study of early Christianity from a historical standpoint is often a very different beast from the approach you'd be taking at Sunday School! You might want to try /r/AcademicBiblical, which may be more familiar with useful teaching resources from a religious standpoint. :)
