I was messing around with an arms trade database (http://armstrade.sipri.org/armstrade/page/values.php) and it says in 1983 and 1984 the United States supplied weapons to North Korea. This made no sense to me and I couldn't figure out how this happened.
It's most likely an error in the system. The US was, is, and, for the foreseeable future, will be, supplying South Korea with weapons.
