Did inhabitants of Bohemia live a "bohemian" lifestyle?

No. The bohemian lifestyle came from an artistic quarter in Paris, a poorer neighborhood with immigrants in the 19th century. Many immigrants were Czech (Bohemians), and many were Roma (Gypsies) from Romania or elsewhere. It's the Roma that lived the "bohemian" lifestyle, and people confused them with Czechs, and called all the people of the quarter "Boheme". That's where we get that. Paris and Roma, almost nothing to do with actual Czechs.
