I don't want to disclose exactly who so everyone doesn't gang up on him. His quote was specifically
TFW a subrace has done more for the development of society & science than all other master races combined.
This was in the comments section of post that was a screenshot of a tumblr thread where a user calls white people a "subrace".
When someone said Asians have done more for science and whatnot, he responded with
Not really. Most of the world follows norms and uses justice systems created in Europe, and are ruled using European ideologies like communism in China. Most technical advancements in the last 2 centuries are "white".
So, what do you guys think, is he being racist or truthful? I was hoping you guys could provide some insight on this subject.
I do know that people of European descent are considered privileged today because of their historical success in colonization and conquering of smaller countries, mainly due to the geographical advantage, being settled up north and all. It's easier to colonize east and west than north and south, or so I've heard.

In it, my esteemed colleague explains that historians loathe this kind of scorekeeping because it is inherently ahistorical and relies both on a META narrative that is intended not to analyze history but to justify certain political agendas and because it relies on very nebulous terms, including what constitutes development, what constitutes advancement, and what is considered a historical success.
Furthermore, the idea of human races is in itself something no serious historian would advocate for the idea is tied to 19th century and racist pseudoscience and has nothing to do with either biology, history, or sociology or any other serious science.
What you encountered here is a racist who is trying to soapbox about the alleged superiority of the "white race" (whatever that is supposed to be) using an un-quantifiable metric based on undefined and nebulous terms that are inspired by pseudoscience, an ahistorical narrative and most likely the tech tree from the Civilization games.
