How was Roman street food served and eaten given that disposable materials were much less available?

Street food was, as I understand, a staple of the life of the Roman poor due to their lack of living spaces with ovens or other means of cooking. How were these foods served without readily manufactured and easily disposed of materials that we take for granted nowadays?

Followup question: how was it paid for? I feel I've only ever seen coin-value comparisons to the Roman era that have coins valued more than what I imagine a meal would cost on the lowest end (i.e., the cheapest coin is still too much for a meal)?

Followup question also. What type of foods were commonly severed? From my understanding also street food was mainly targeted towards the lower class, was there ever street food with much more luxurious ingredients?
