Why does the Supreme Court case In re Gault have that name?

All other supreme court cases i have seen are named (some party) v. (other party). Why is this one named differently?

In re is a term meaning 'in the matter of.' In re Gault wasn't a case of two parties against each other - like, for example, Roe v. Wade, or Brown v. Board of Education - but rather a decision on an appeal from the Arizona Superior Court, so it wouldn't have an X v. Y name to it.
