I came across this image (credit to Kylin Li). I'm really intrigued by the design, and want to learn more about the culture/era it's inspired by. My first guess is some time in ancient Chinese history, but I can't seem to find a specific dynasty that it resembles. Might be that it's a conglomeration of several. Hope someone else might have an insight.

Hi there - you may have an easier time asking the artist themselves for the reference/s they used in making this piece. Keep in mind it may be an entirely fictional creation, and may have little or nothing to do with any real historical design.
