How did the ideas of Hitler's Germany die so quickly after the war?

Wouldn't the ideas accepted under Nazi Germany continue on through all the people raised as "Hitler's youth" after WW2? It seems like the German people moved away from those ideas fairly quickly after the war, but maybe I just don't know enough about postwar Germany.

Depends on what you are talking about. The hatred for jews, nationalism, socialism, expansionism were all used by the nazis. Could you specify your question a bit?
