Why does the statue of Pharaoh Ramses 2 look very different from his supposed Mummy?

Here we have the pharaoh looking broad faced, wide jawed, no hook nose, with some effeminate features.

But his supposed mummy has a crooked nose and elongated face as opposed to what he portrayed of himself. Ref Pic. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/84/Mummy_of_Ramesses_II_-_02.JPG

Something fishy here folks?.

Egyptian pharaohs were in the habit of having artists depict them in flattering and unrealistic ways. The most noted (perhaps only) exception to the rule was the Pharaoh Akhenaten who was depicted in a far less idealized fashion because he allowed artists to portray him accurately. He is pictured with atypical bone-structure (for pharaohs, that is) and notably, with a pronounced gut. But by far, most pharaohs were made to be far more conventionally handsome than they actually were. Take King Tut as an example. Modern archaeologists believe he was severely disfigured with buck teeth, a club foot, and wide hips. His funerary casket, on the other hand, would have you believe he was god-like. They were, after all, meant to be gods.
