OP, would you mind clarifying when exactly you mean? Do you mean Ur during the time of Leonard Woolley's excavations (ie. Early Dynastic Ur), or later, during its 'Golden Age' (the Ur III period), or some other time?

I'm happy to put together a response for you (it'll be decent revision for my masters exams) but I need clarification!
