I am struggling to find modern, objective accounts of the early Christian movement. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
How early is early for your interests? The tab of the books and resources list on Christianity has some great recommendations. I'd personally recommend Parting of the Ways by Dunn for earliest Christianity, or anything really by Peter Brown if you're looking to delve more into Late Antique and Early Medieval Christianity
