I bought this helmet from an online catalog that simply listed as "army surplus". I just want to know what country its from or and any other info i can get on it.
I know some are sideways but i couldnt get them to stay upright

In addition to what the other two said about it being an M1 helmet, the "Thibault Montreuil 1952" and the "MPMP Marseille" make me think French military.
It looks like an American M1 helmet that started being issued in WWII. However since it has a stamp from the 1950s it is postwar clearly. A lot of U.S. allies began using this helmet at this time, so hopefully someone can tell you more.
