My dad bought this plane and got it to this spot by completely disassembling it and reassembling it. I was hoping someone could help me find out about its history or some original photos of it?

This is A89-279, an SP-2H Neptune that served the RAAF from 62 to 76.. Last recorded as sold to a private owner (erm...I have the name of the purchaser if OP wants to verify via PM) and transported away by road.
She won the Fincastle in 1975, which is cool.
