We're a small theater company and we have a recruitment underway, and we want to present the tasks involved as jobs from the medieval times. We've already found one for each job we're specifically looking for, but are they historically correct? Either way, even if they are or they're not, and you have a better idea, hit me up!
Fundraiser(a.k.a one who brings the money or writes the projects) - Treasurer
IT(a.k.a one who speaks with other worlds, this being virtual world) - Alchemist/Astronomer
Design(a.k.a one who makes the space pretty) - Gardener or Court Artist
Administrative(a.k.a one who keeps tabs of how money is spent) - King Counselor
PR(a.k.a one who speaks to the village and other castles) - Envoy, Herald, or maybe Jester?
Thanks!
Fund raiser would be more like a tax collector (often Jews).
Astrologer (not Astronomer) is the one running your prediction engine (NOT IT, a data analyst or data scientist).
Priest -- psychiatrist
Monastery next door: the factory floor
Physician -- Anti-vaccer lobbyist. Seller of protein shakes and vitamin supplements.
PR - Bard (the musician)
Private entertainment. Stand-up comic -> your jester.
Chef cook -- party planner
And I'm here for your alchemist -> your modern stock-broker who slowly loses money on bad investments.
If you really need an IT guy, then that's the architect you hired from far-off italy (more like a developer). Or maybe the guy that cleans the latrines.
