We know that they shot at unarmed soldiers who were trying to surrender (although the origin of the fire is not obvious in the video, the Slovenes themselves acknowledge that they fired but that no soldiers were killed). That in itself is bad enough.

What we don't know for sure is if any died. I doubt we ever will.

So, no - no scholarly consensus about the deaths, only about the attempt to kill unarmed soldiers who were trying to surrender.
