My class is doing a pre-gunpowder warrior tournament. I have English Knights and my opponent has the Turks. What are some good points I can make to sway my class to my side?

The primary issue here is which knight and which Turk? The definition of the English 'knight' encompasses anything between the chainmail-armored, unbarded Norman cavalry of the 1000s and the fully barded, fully plated heavy cavalrymen of the Hundred Years War. Similarly, Turks vary even more wildly, from a completely unarmored nomadic raider to an elite janissary to the heavily armored slave-soldiers that guarded the palaces of great rulers. These aren't nearly specific enough, and the Turks have an obvious advantage in this case.
