Question to the mods/community

by Spacechip

Reading most threads here is sifting through a ton of deleted comments. I understand your commitment to having citable informed answers, but I think there are a wealth of interesting and colorful anecdotes lost to this rule. Would a disclaimer of anecdotal fix this issue? I hate when there's an interesting question, and many censored answers.

Hi there -- you can read more about our anecdotes rule in this Rules Roundtable.

I suspect that your question has been sparked by the flood of anecdotes in the "no shirt no shoes no service" thread, and I think I can confidently speak for the mod-team when I say that we have no particular interest in "I work in retail and people come in without shirts a lot."

Thanks!
