After WW1 there was a lot of anger in germany at loosing the war which arguably led to WW2. Was there any similar anger after WW2 and how was it handled?

one big difference was that after ww1 germany was largely intact. the western front was mostly in france. many french towns were destroyed. therefore, it was easy for some to say germany lost but was not really beaten in ww1 -- the muddy trenches were not there.

but it was quite clear germany was crushed in ww2. their cities were flattened. they were split in two and occupied by foreign armies.

there may have been anger, but at least it was absolutely clear germany was beaten.
