Is there anyway to find archival/primary source data on the number of migrants coming into the USA (or specifically certain ports like New York, Boston) on a yearly basis between 1860-1890. I had been able to find something similar for 1820-1848 in a Report https://books.google.co.uk/books?vid=HARVARD:32044077941557&printsec=titlepage&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q&f=false, however nothing for the time period I want. I know there are passenger arrival list however i can only search for particular/ships slash passenger without and data from that time period showcasing the what all those manifests totalled to. Any help would be very much appreciated.
