The tall white object in the alcove at the far right of this image. It has four wooden legs, appears to be 8 feet tall or so, and might have a ceramic exterior. This thing was very prominent in severalscenes in the movie, and is so striking I thought it must be something historical, and not just imagined by the set designers.
Does anyone know what it might be?
I'm not sure what the proper term is (maybe mannequin?), but it looks like what big poofy dresses/gowns were put on before/after they were worn.
It is a baroque ceramic oven/heater. Used to warm the room.
