Hey there!

While I'm not entirely sure what you're looking for, PBS Nova has put out two decent documentaries discussing the Inca that I frequently show my high school students:

• The Great Inca Rebellion: how bioarchaeologists and forensics anthropologists have contributed to our knowledge of Inca resistance to Spanish conquest

• Ghosts of Machu Picchu: the lives, methods, and innovations of the people who built Machu Picchu

While these do exhibit Nova's tendency to drag things out for drama, they are both quite accurate. They feature real, currently active and respected archaeologists, and they show the archaeological process without too much embellishment. Most importantly, both are case studies that start with things you might be familiar with and presents the modern, more complex look at those ideas.
