I'm going to see Hamilton this weekend. What are some interesting anecdotes about the real Alexander Hamilton, and what should I know about the famous statesmen before seeing the musical?

I know a little about him ($10 bill, Aaron Burr, Founding Father), but I'd like to impress the people I'm going with and make the viewing experience more enjoyable. Looking for his short stories, facts and tidbits that make for good conversation.

Thank you in advance. :)

Your question is a little vague, so you may want to consider asking for some things that are more specific. That aside though, our Hamilton AMA hsould be of use to you.
