Look up scholarship (journal articles, mostly) on F451. You'll probably find some articles comparing it to similar works of the time.
There is an absolutely stupendously large body of scholarship on science fiction and the Cold War. If you frame your research a bit more broadly, I bet you'll come up with a bunch of stuff that's relevant in ways you didn't original envision, but that make your paper awesome.
