Help finding the correct WW2 AAC patch for my Grandfather's shadowbox.

by AnodeRod

I am wondering if there are any WW2 buffs out there that can help me locate the correct shoulder patch for my grandfather's shadow box. He was a Cannoneer (844) in the 163rd Infantry Cannon Company during WW2 (Feb 1943 - Jan 1946). I believe they were assigned to the 41st Infantry Division but am not certain. Would he have worn 41st Sunset patch or something else? Thanks guys and gals!

The 163rd Infantry Regiment (Montana National Guard) was assigned to the 41st Infantry Division (National Guard units from Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming) during WWII. The distinctive unit insignia of the 163rd is this, but only the shoulder sleeve insignia of the division (this) was authorized for wear on the left sleeve of the field jacket.
