You see most of the other European powers establish colonies why didn't Prussia and Austria-Hungary?
I can't speak for Austria-Hungary, but my understanding was that Bismark always saw it as a waste of time and money. The total costs of conquest, maintenance and defense from other European powers was, at least for sub-Saharan Africa, much higher than the benefits. While there were a lot of individuals who became spectacularly wealthy, that wasn't generally true of nations.
Moreover, Prussia only became a major power in the late 19th century. Many of the most wealthy, and loot heavy places like India and Peru were already taken. Prussia did acquire some colonies in the conference of Berlin (which was called by Bismark, but where his main goals were European) most notably in Tanzania and Namibia. German rule of Namibia is most famous for it's genocide of the Herero and Namaqua, and neither colony proved to be especially profitable. Tanzania passed to British rule, and Namibia to South African. and the memory of German colonial rule has quickly faded away in both places.
