I just finished watching the BBC documentary called History of World War II: Hiroshima. It was really great and I would recommend watching it. But I can't help but feel that the documentary was quite biased towards the USA and the allied forces.
Do any of you know if there exists a documentary explaining the bombs being dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki from Japan's point of view?

there is an incredible documentary that i think is what you are looking for. It is called White Light/Black Rain: The Destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki directed by Steven Okazaki. It is available on HBO and some others. it talks a little of the build up to it, but mostly covers the aftermath.
