I'm Gavrilo Proncip, where did the bullets I used to kill Archduke Ferdinand come from?

by evilpettingz00

I don't mean who handed him the bullets, I mean before that: were they manufactured by a big company? Did a peasant worker on a factory line chisel a little rock together? Were they simply purchased at a store on the way to Sarajevo? If so, where did the store get them? A supplier? Homemade?

I find Ferdinand's assassination fascinating in that it's rippling effects dramatically changed the world and I'd just like to know, if possible, the specific origins of that little piece of rock that found itself changing the very course of humanity.

Thanks in advance.

He fired an FN-1910 chambered for .380 ACP rounds. The gun and rounds were provided by Major Tankosić of Serbian army. The FN-1910 is a Browning 1910 manufactured by Fabrique Nationale of Belgium (it is likely the rounds were as well although I can't find a record detailing their direct origin). The bullet itself is on display at Konopiště Castle the gun at Heeresgeschichtliches Museum.
