First of all, please pardon my English. I'm not a native speaker.
I've got into an argument with a stranger today about bathing behavior and hygiene of those people in medieval era.
I believe that bathing was not commonly popular but she argued that medieval people usually took a bath until the bubonic plague started and people got panicked because they thought that bathing would make their skin pores 'widen' and get disease easier.
Tried googling a bit but got confused because too many sources are conflicting with each other and no reference.
So, help me, Reddit.
Can you clarify where in medieval Asia?
