Any good books, documentaries or lectures on the civil war?

Is there a specific aspect you are interested in?

My usual go to is Faust's very accessible book This Republic of Suffering. Her focus is predominantly on the war itself and the cultural aftermath - not so much in the events leading up to it - and she does a wonderful job of showing how the war impacted every aspect of society.

PBS also did a documentary based on the book which is well worth watching.
