My dad is a huge WW2 buff. After over 50 years of reading about it, creating model tanks/planes, and watching documentaries, though, I think he's struggling to find new and interesting takes on the topic. A friend was telling me about The Campaign for North Africa board game and I thought a WW2-themed board game might be an interesting way for my dad to interact with WW2 history in a new/fun way.

I know that there have been threads before on historically-accurate video games, but my dad isn't really tech savvy, so I was wondering if there were any WW2 strategy board games that any of you have heard of/enjoyed?

If not, are there any gifts/things that you would appreciate receiving that would help keep your interest in your historical topic fresh and interesting, even after decades of study?
