The US has one of the largest population of migrants. Is there any poetry or literature of european migrants from the 1800s /1900s / 2000s?

As a Migrant myself, I would really like to see if there was any insights, thoughts, maybe journals from people from that time.

First novel that comes to mind is Amerika by Franz Kafka. A good (unfinished) novel detailing a young man's experiences emigrating to the US at the beginning of the 20th century.
