I'm writing about marxisme for my history and philosophy class and I don't understand the goals of Marxisme. The only thing I understand as there clear goal was to end capitalism and make a society with no classes. Was there more to it than that? What was their plan if they could shape a country like they wanted?
Marxians, Marxists, and Carl Marx are three very different groups of people. Carl Marx was a social scientist who described a number of 19th century social pressures, for this reason Marxism is sometimes taken to mean a lens by which social pressures are examined using Marx's analysis. Marxians, like Socialists and Communists, are a different thing altogether. Are you asking about Carl Marx as a social scientist, or Marxian thinkers?
