This certainly isn't anything from the Viking Age, although I think a few symbols like this do occasionally appear in the manuscripts of late medieval Iceland. The folks over at /r/Norse usually are willing to comment on this sort of thing.

Full image. These aren't actual runes like the Futhark, these are based on Galdrastafir, magical staves from Iceland, as recorded in a few grimoires like Lbs 4375 8vo. I'm not familiar with this one, however, and I strongly suspect that it might be a more contemporary fabrication.
