In English, a lot of newspapers have similar names. Some seem obvious such as Times or Herald. But how did names like The Star and the Sun become associated with news?

Hi there -- this older post and link within it about newspaper names may be of some interest to you: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskHistorians/comments/2xyb78/why_did_newspapers_adopt_names_like_times_globe/

Star and Sun have obvious (to me) connections with newspapers, if you think of them as partisan: people navigate by stars, Frederick Douglass' abolitionist newspaper was the North Star, and the sun itself brings light to us all. :)
