We tried googling everything and there were some with a red border on it but this one doesn't seem to be painted. It has a screw back and seems to be pretty old but we are wondering if it is a fake or a real pin. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Many here will already know this, but it says "My honor is loyalty," a common SS slogan (if not the motto of the organization) which is fairly omnipresent across trinkets like this, and elements of uniforms such as belt buckles, etc.
