I searched this sub and this question has been asked a few times but without an answer.
Of the main Hindu trimurti, Vishnu and Shiva enjoy tremendous worship among believers but Brahma does not. There are a few mythological justifications for why this is (example), but I wanted to know any historical reasons for this.
Was there ever a cult of Brahma the way there is a cult of Vishnu and Shiva today? If not, why not? If yes, what happened to it?
