Hi OP, could you expand on this question a bit, i.e. transportation in what sense (e.g. personal? on land vs ocean? for fishing? freighter traffic? etc), and the rough time period (pre-European contact? during WWII?). That will greatly assist anyone considering answering here. Thanks!
