Is there any validity to JFK conspiracy theories?

by righttoarmbearz

I've heard many conspiracy theories regarding a second shooter, or multiple shooters, as well as the motivation of the shooters(mob, CIA), and I was wondering from an (relatively)impartial perspective if there is any ground to them. This has probably already been asked on here, but I couldn't find a thread on it so I thought I'd ask again.

This was asked about a month here (with an answer by u/maestro876). In short, there is no validity to JFK conspiracy theories; Oswald acted alone.

Like almost all conspiracy theories, the fundamental issue is that the people promoting them can't even agree among themselves on what the conspiracy is.

Depending on which conspiracy theorist you talk to, it was the CIA, or the KGB, or the Cubans, or the Chinese, or the Mafia, or Mossad, or the Republicans, or Lyndon Johnson, or conservative Southern Democrats, or some jealous husband of a woman JFK was bedding, or God knows who else....

So any claims of "validity" fall at the very first hurdle. Even the conspiracy theorists themselves are unable to decide on what their version of "The Truth" is.
