Did any famous Roman gens (last names) survive into the modern day? Do we know the ends of those which did not?

For example: Flavius, Valerius, Claudius, Fabius, Julius etc.

EDIT: Removed Scipio as it is a cognomen (see comment below).

A note, until someone who knows more about lineage gets to you. Scipio is not a nomen gentile. It's a cognomen of a particular branch (which had branches of its own) of the gens Cornelia
