How did Roman mail work? How do they know where to send letters to recipients? Do they have addresses and was there an ancient Roman ZIP code equivalent?
This is from a long time ago. On a very late night fueled by insomnia and whiskey I pulled together a bunch of Cicero talking about the mail. I didn't provide much contextualization, but Cicero is pretty straight forward about these things.
