Me and some friends are planning on spending a weekend doing what we've dubbed the "Churchill Challenge" during a visit to Berlin. The aim is to drink the exact amount that Winston Churchill drank in a day at roughly the same time so any information or sources would be appreciated.
Why when you go to Berlin?
Pacific Crucible had an interesting description of Churchill's visit to Washington DC shortly after the US entered WW2. I can't recall the exact amount he typically had, but I do remember that it was normal for him to have hard liquor with breakfast. His American hosts were stunned by his ability to consume enormous amounts of booze without visible signs of drunkenness.
