In Wonder Woman, Diana is frequently mentioned to be extremely physically attractive. Would she have actually been considered conventionally beautiful by WW1-era European standards?

Well, in general ideals of physical attractiveness seem to change relatively little over time. Dress codes, hair style fads and other superficial variations of presentation change all the time. So in certain eras her dress and way of acting would have been considered scandalous, but if you are talking about pure physical appearance, that is pretty constant. Signs of good health, young adult, well-developed gender traits like breasts and waist-to-hip ratio, etc, all are pretty logical from an evolutionary perspective and not that malleable for change.

I am actually more curious why you would think there would be a marked difference? If you just google pictures of women considered attractive around WW1 I think you will find a great overlap with today, will you not?
