I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but if I went into a catholic church and read a copy of the bible that they had there, would it be the same as if I read the church's bible, but in a protestant or orthodox church? If not, when would the differences have come about? Would it be at the time Luther left the Catholic church or later on?
I take it that you mean you would read the Bible in English and understand that there are many different translations which attempt to be consistent with the original language.
There is always room for newer and better answers but you may be interested in an earlier similar question/thread here.
Briefly, the New Testament that you read would be the same in both churches but the Old Testament would have differences. If you want in depth information you might want to post on r/academicbiblical
