Most certainly... failure, the control was hard on that year, and the Gestapo and SS would crush you, later, maybe 1944 you would have a opportunity, but doing that on 1942..... yo face almost certain death, also, the Great war veterans were not so good at the 2th world war at least on France, the veterans were the ones who thought that the front would be on the north once more and for that... they lost in a matter of days to the germans; also, you cant expect much help, discontent was not a thing on that year, France was on a "Stoic" state of acceptance towards the German occupation, there was not much to do. just wait until allied forces invaded Normandy and stay silent trying to sabotage supply lines to the front. Oh, and a second thing.... don't go killing high ranking officers, that draws to much attention, sugar on gas tanks, and stealing supplies is the most secure way to go, stay safe, stay classy, you are resisting, not charging mindlessly to the most powerful army in the world (at the moment)
