My friend keeps insisting this is true. I've tried looking it up but can't find a source anywhere, but he still says he heard it once from a reliable source. I'm very skeptial and almost certain it wasn't Bruce Lee. If not Bruce Lee then who was the first, and if he was is there a source that confirms this?
It could be true. The one person that beat Bruce Lee in having a star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame was the star of the first sixteen Charlie Chan movies. However, that actor's name was Warner Oland. He was born in Sweden and was not even Chinese. He immersed himself so deeply in his role, that he seemed to have been Chinese, not a Swede.
