I was listening to the Declaration again yesterday. "He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people." What towns were burnt? What particular ravaging occurred?
There was fighting around Boston, the Battles of Lexington, Concord, and Bunker Hill all took place in 1775, and Boston was occupied. Was there any fighting or occupations elsewhere before the Declaration of Independence?
