What cameras were used by British forces during WW2?

I'm mainly wondering if they would have used the Kodak 35 (a camera I just bought). I know it was widely used by US forces but I was wondering if it was also popular with the British as well in an official (film crews) or non-official capacity (troops sneaking cameras on the battlefield).

At some point, Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta rangefinder cameras (ordered through neutral nations) became the standard issue of the Army Film & Photographic Unit, whereas before they were using whatever was to hand. As related in Ian Grant's 'Cameramen at War', AFPU soldiers would also confiscate any German civilian's camera if they liked the look of it, and they particularly liked the look of a Leica.

Found a well-sourced listing of the known cameras used by AFPU or AFPU members - they were allowed to use their own equipment, but the Army wouldn't pay for repairs.
