Mexican involvement (or lack thereof) in WWI

by Dovakin1

I just picked up a book on the uniforms and decorations of all the belligerent powers of WWI from my local second hand book shop. Part of the book deals with Mexican equipment and uniforms during the period of the First World War. I had no idea Mexico was even involved at all in WWI. From the little I know if it's history during this period it was embroiled in internal conflicts at the time. If anyone can enlighten me as to the history of Mexico during WWI it would be much appreciated.

You'll find a fairly complete answer of your question in this thread. In particular, the answers by /u/nilhaus and /u/GodardWaffleCakes cover both US-Mexico relations at the time of World War I and the internal Mexican politics of the time, and how they affected any potential involvement of Mexico.
