I know that other countries have awarded medals to American soldiers for what they did for that country, but I am wondering if the U.S. has ever given medals to foreign soldiers who helped the U.S. in any way?
I'm sure its happened. I couldn't find an article on specific individuals but heres an Army regulation on the issue. I've seen medals given to foreign civilians in my career.
