I have no qualms about what the job is, as long as it helps me build contacts in Archeology/History Professors. If anyone knows of a site, or person that needs a warm body with the passion to learn, please point me in the right direction.
Look at schools with good history programs, or history programs near you. They'll usually have a list of what their students & professors ph.d's are in and such. Alternatively, you can look at museums and talk to the people there. Check out wikipedia sources, for people that actually cared enough to write & publish their works.
Where are you located?
/u/davidmanheim Near Fresno, CA. But if the offer is real I can go anywhere in the US within 2 weeks. Some folks love sports, or collectibles of some sort, but what brings me the most joy in life is history without question. It's been calling me since I played Ceasar 3 on my old PC, when I was maybe 10. After reading every description from Augustus to the battle of Zama my G-ma gave me a beginner's intro to the Roman Pantheon. My high school & junior college teachers would let me grade HW & help them with lesson plans. And I imagine you hear a "I was BORN for this..." speech quite often. But like the title says, I have little experience but a heart full of passion.
